Brand new 20v trim nailer stops working halfway through baseboard project in one small room

Light comes on indicating low batter, nail jam, or stalled. After going through all steps in owners manual, nailer will not work. It will go off when I disconnect battery but come right back on when I try to fire the gun again. This is a cordless tool. What do I do to fix this issue? I need a product that works.
