Porter Cable generator BSV800-1

I have a Porter-Gable generator BSV800-1, the carburetor needed replacing, to get to the carburetor mounting screws I had to remove the governor assembly, after replacing the carburetor for some reason I cannot reassemble the governor the way it was originally, I cannot find a brake down schematic nor a how to do it properly tutorial, could you please help me out on this?

The parts that you are referring to were originally manufactured by Briggs and Straton, they would be able to provide more clear instructions about reassembling the governor. You can contact them at (800) 444-7774, here is the parts diagram and list for the engine.
